Memory Care Center - Caregiver Support
“There are only four kinds of people in the world. Those who have been caregivers. Those who are currently caregivers. Those who will be caregivers, and those who will need a caregiver.”
Former First Lady
The Caregiver Support and Resource Center will provide a space for families to get help with their enormous responsibility. We know that caregiving is a full-time, relentless role and it is often the health and well-being of the caregiver that suffers. This space is dedicated to improving the quality of life of the caregiver.
Caregivers will be encouraged to visit the Resource Center where peers and professional staff will be available to provide support and links to community resources.
Residents or families seeking individualized guidance and support are welcome to request a visit from Juanita Angelini, our Memory Resource Support Coordinator.
Residents are also invited to attend our Caregiver Support Group, or the Memory Support Group. The Memory Support Group, which is sponsored by the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, is also open to members of the greater Lancaster community.
